What's the difference between buying a kitchen from a home improvement warehouse and a company like My Dream Kitchen?
Although a home improvement warehouse can say that their designers are "trained", this process may represent a weekend of training. Kitchen plans prepared by inexperienced designers can lead to disaster and a loss of time and money. Because each of My Dream Kitchen's designers has at least 14 years of experience, they are able to solve design problems efficiently and aesthetically which means that your kitchen functions as beautifully as it looks. Also, we install and manage the production of everything that we sell. So your kitchen installation will be done to our standards rather than turned over to an independent handyman.

How can I be sure that my new kitchen will be functional?
Total renovations allow for design changes. We use the National Kitchen and Bath Association standards to design kitchens that are efficient, convenient and fun to work in. These standards include things such as storage requirements, aisle clearances, appliance locations, and traffic patterns. YOU WILL GET MORE THAN AN OPINON; YOU WILL GET AN UNBIASED ASSESSMENT OF THE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF YOUR NEW KITCHEN DESIGN.

Do I need a Remodeling Contractor?
This depends on the size of the project. My Dream Kitchen is a North Carolina licensed contractor. If the scope of the project is larger than we will contract, we will recommend a remodeling contractor who specializes in kitchen projects. Licensed contractors are required to carry Workman's Compensation and liability insurance to protect the homeowner and they build to code requirements.
