We had wanted to remodel the kitchen for over ten years. However, the space was so small that one contractor even said to me "Why do it, you won't gain anything." When we saw the design solution proposed by My Dream Kitchen by Koehler, though, we knew we had the answer. By relocating the dining room door, we would gain the countertop space and cabinetry that our kitchen was sorely lacking.
A countertop color I love drove matching and complimentary colors for the whole kitchen. The beautiful Delft tiles and glazed Crystal all-wood cabinets combined to make the new kitchen a restful and functional space where we both love to be.
Amazingly, in this small space, we were also able to add an island which features knotty alder wood with a contrasting granite countertop.
